Biggs Place883 viewsTo us oldsters, it doesn't seem that long ago that Bigg's opened, but in fact, it was 26 years ago, and a rather historic occurrence. By 1984, Eastgate Mall had been opened for about 5 years, and the surrounding area had added several retail establishments. But the area was still largely idle agricultural.

Hetz Deli908 viewsHetz’s Deli located on Old 74 near School House Road. Hetz’s was a local favorite of the kids in the area. Mr Hetz had a big heart, a big smile and sense of humor. He was know to help many of the kids when their pop bottle return was not enough. Many of the local softball teams could be seen at Hetz after the games. Mr Hetz was loved by all.
