Grant Memorial Building. The building was dedicated to General/President US Grant to honor his connection to Bethel. He lived in Bethel 1854-58. His father, Jesse Grant, was the first mayor of Bethel. Grant visited the village on serveral occasuions. The building served as a community center. The library and other civic groups used it.
